I can see that this tool will really assist my communication with teachers. I am looking forward to being able to organize the web sites using tags. I am starting to think of this as my personal professional web page. Everything will be in one place. I had to start using Firefox though, because Safari was unable to load the Toolbox for Diigo.
I ran across a web site that features many free online magazines. I posted it to the Group and also to my page. I will have to browse through this site more thoroughly, but it might prove to be a place where we could access free magazines for the HS library. If I can post individual magazines on Diigo, then students could have access to them more easily than if they were in the libary. There, you would only find one copy of a magazine - here any number of students could read the same magazine at the same time.
I can see that the benefits of using this resource for research will be amazing. With the ability to make notes right in the text, to highlight and save in Diigo, and then if you have to go home, be able to open it up and continue where you left off... What a resource.
